is a large zoo
safari and
amusement park
covering just
under 150
acres less
than a mile
from the city.
The 2 sections
are separate
so you can
choose to
visit them
singularly or
together if so
desired.
ZooSafari
The zoo has
over 1,600
animals of 200
species,
enough to keep
anyone happy,
with all the
big favourites
such as
elephants,
lions, tigers,
giraffe,
antelopes,
monkeys,
chimps,
gorillas,
bears etc.
Tickets for
adults are 18
euros with
reductions for
groups.
Fasanolandia
The amusement
park has a
fair number of
rides, mainly
for older
children and
adults
including a
couple of
roller
coasters, log
flume and big
wheel, plus a
dolphin and
sea lion show.
There are
snack bars and
a restaurant
in the park
plus a picnic
area if you
want to take
your own
refreshments.
